Happy Lá ’le Pádraig

It was Ireland’s big national holiday. On top of that, New York got Paterson as its new governor. I truly wonder how much of a better job he is going to do. It’s funny how personal scandals can drive these politicians out of office, yet his declining approval rate as governor over the year was never prominently addressed to the public.

On another note, Dale was in town from CT, and a couple of folks took days off from work. So we played, from the UES to eventually migrating to midtown. I also discovered that DIP makes a mean chicken quesadilla (aside from its amazing fondues).

Song of the moment (one of my favorites off that album): It is kind of depressing, but I love it (the video is great too). “That love is watching someone die” – it is powerful in so many ways. We cross paths with people everyday, some stay longer than others. To those who are important to you, try not share and love them when you’re in life’s waiting room – it will be too late.
