Relax Yourself
I realize that I am picky about who I bring into my life. Although it feels easy to get along with almost anybody, which doesn’t say much at all, there’s always the continuous search for long-lasting and meaningful friendships. Building these relationships certainly poses more difficult and complex challenges as we get older. But things do become clearer as our life experiences define who we are and what we seek – part of growing up I guess.
With that said, I am even pickier about my female friends selection. I find lots of girls petty and catty, and I just don’t have the patience for any of that drama. All that he say she say business does not work well with me. If you are to ever hang out with me, please leave that at the door. I am all about bringing positive energy and providing solutions rather than stressing and bitching over situations that does a body no good.
For a second there I forgot the purpose of this entry. But it is because my friend had told me his girlfriend freaked out after seeing a conversation of text messages between us (mind you we were just TALKING, much about nothing). I think those who are in relationships should still have friends of their own, interests of their own, lives of their own. It’s so important to not lose your identity and self-worth when that relationship is suppose to make you better.
So, relax yourself. Dance more, laugh more, be a little smarter.
To make up for a slow travel month, I just booked flights to visit St. Louis for a weekend in October. If anyone wants to come, give me a shout. Those who are in the SF area, or want to visit, I will be there for work in January. Details to come.
